Uploading User Signatures
The File Maintenance Utility allows you to upload the bitmap (.bmp) image file of users' signatures to the server, which can then be inserted into letters. At this time, only .bmp image files are supported for signature inserts. For more information on inserting signatures in letters, see Picture and Signature Paragraph Inserts.
to previous users of Classic Emplifi Agent: This process is different from Classic Emplifi Agent. Please completely review this topic for the new steps to upload a signature file.
The signature file(s) must be named as follows: [usercode].bmp. The [usercode] is the agent's Emplifi Agent user ID.
To upload the user signature files:
From the Application Function Bar, select Utilities > Configuration Utilities > File Maintenance Utility.
Select the Standard Letters folder. This is where the signature file should be uploaded. If you need to create a sub-folder for signature files, see File Maintenance Utility.
Click the File Upload button on the banner. The File Explorer window will open.
Select the signature file you want to upload and click Open. The utility takes the .bmp file and uploads it to the Standard Letters folder (or a Letters sub-folder) on the server.
If a signature file is uploaded that has the same name as an existing file in the folder, the new uploaded file will replace the existing file.
