License Profiles
The Profiles view displays a list of the License Profiles defined in Emplifi Agent. Selecting a profile from the Function Bar, displays the profile definition and a list of products (such as, Emplifi Knowledge and Case Management) that are linked to the profile.
You can add new profiles, edit existing profiles, add new products to a profile, and as products are added you can also specify what type of license is required.
To access the Profiles view:
From the Application Function Bar, select Administration > User and Security Setup > Licensing > Profiles.
Profiles Function Banner
You can edit a profile by using the following banner buttons.

New Profile | Click to create a new profile. Refer to the Adding a Profile section for more information. |
Copy Profile | Open an existing profile and click this button to copy it. |
New Product | Click to add products to a profile. Refer to the Adding a New Product section for more information. |
Delete Product | On an open profile, select the check box next to the product you want to delete. Then, click this button. A confirmation message will display. |
Delete Profile | On an open profile, click this button to delete the profile. A warning message will display to confirm that you want to delete the profile. A deleted profile cannot be recovered. |
Save | Click this button to save changes to the profile. |
Adding a Profile
From the Profiles Function Banner, click the New Profile button.
In the Profile Description field, enter a description for the new profile.
Best Practice: Name the profile utilizing the license type and product. For example, Concurrent Case Management.Click the Save button. The system saves the profile information.
Next, add products to the profile. Refer to "Adding a New Product" below.
Adding a New Product
Open the profile to which you want to add a product.
Click the New Product button. The Select new Product(s) to add dialog displays.
Select the check box next to the product(s) that you want to include in the profile.
Click Ok. The product displays on the Profile view.
From the License Type drop-down list, select the type of license for the product from the following: Concurrent User or Named User.
From the Specific License drop-down list, select the license based on the selected License Type.
Click the Save button.
