Print and Collate Enclosures With Associated Letter

Case Enclosures configured for printing by specifying a File Name, can now be printed server-side at the same time as their associated Letter, such that the print tray contains the collated result.

To use this feature:

• The Letter must be HTML, with a Letter Type configured for Server-Side printing.

• The Enclosure must be HTML, (a custom hook is available for printing other file types with client-purchased software).

Printed enclosures that were not printed using this feature will still appear on the Process Fulfillment Document view with a total count to print. Those included in the new feature do not appear in the document list, but print when the related letter document is printed. Both enclosures using the feature and not using the feature will appear in the Pick List / Shipping Details lists.

To configure this feature:

• In Configuration Settings, select Default > Fulfillment. Select the "Print Enclosures Server Side With Letters" check box.

• In Company Setup, select Fulfillment > Enclosure Codes. For each Enclosure Code you want to print in this manner, on the Enclosure tab in the File Print Letter Type field specify a letter type code to control the printer trays used for printing. The feature assumes that this is the same physical printer as the related Letter document being printed but will not indicate if it is not.

  If multiple printers are configured per Letter Type code, when the user changes printers, they must also change any letter types related to enclosure printing to the same printer. Emplifi Agent will not detect if this was done correctly or not. The default printer will be used for each document if not specified on the client or if the printer configuration has changed.
