Viewing Technical Details about a Window
At times it may be necessary to retrieve detailed technical information about a window for troubleshooting purposes. Under normal circumstances you do not need to be concerned about this information. It is provided primarily for the use of support personnel, administrators, and developers.
To view detailed information about the current window:
Press [Ctrl + Q] from anywhere in Emplifi Agent. The Window Details window displays.
Window Details Fields
The Window Details window displays the following information:
Field | Description |

Web Server | Machine name of the server where the website is running. |
Base Web | Name of the website on the Web server. |
Emplifi Agent Version | Full Emplifi Agent version. |
PCAS Version | Full version of the Emplifi Agent Server. |
Usage Source | The Usage Source name that was entered on the System Parameters page. This is a name assigned to this instance of Emplifi Agent. This field may be blank. |
Usage Type | The Usage Type that was assigned on the System Parameters page. This field will display one of the following usage types: Production, Archive, Training, Test, Demonstration, Configuration, Development, or Other. |
URL | The full URL of the page that is currently being viewed. |
CompanyID | The default Company ID of the current user. |
Configuration | The name of the Emplifi Agent Configuration to which the current user is assigned. For more information, see Configuration Types. |
User Language | The language of the user that determines what language the screens display. |
View Name | The internal name of the XSL layout being displayed in the function page. For more information, see Emplifi Agent Window. |
Source File | The layout source file of the page that is currently being viewed. This file corresponds to the settings in the Layout Editor. |
Active Element | The internal name of the active screen element (for example, field or button). |
Licensed Company | The name of the company who was issued the license for this session of Emplifi Agent. |
Licensed Purpose | The license description explains which license was issued for the Emplifi Agent database. |
