Migrations

A migration is when a data value entered in one field causes other data values to be automatically entered into other fields. The following are common examples of ways to use migrations:

  • Entering a ZIP code for a caller may automatically populate the City and State fields.

  • Selecting a value in the Product field may automatically set the corresponding value in the Brand field.

Migrations are set up by your system administrator. For information, see Migration Rules.
