Configuration: White Pages
White Pages Lookup is an optional feature of Emplifi Agent. It gives you the ability to automatically look up address information from a national database based on the phone number of the caller. If a match is found, the information can be automatically populated on the case.
For information about this feature, see White Pages Lookup Overview.
Reverse Settings
Field | Description |
---|---|
Use Configuration | If you want to base the White Pages Reverse Settings on an already defined configuration, select the configuration from the list. Otherwise, leave the field blank to use the settings defined in the current configuration. |
Limit | Enter the number of white page lookup requests that are allowed per configuration. For example, your company may only allow 5000 lookups a month. |
Current Count | Displays the number of white page lookup requests that have been made. Emplifi Agent increments the number in this field each time a lookup is performed. When the number in this field matches the number in the Limit field, on the next lookup the system compares the two numbers and finds that you have reached the lookup limit and the White Pages lookup is canceled. To allow White Pages lookups after the Limit is met, you must manually clear the value in this field to begin the count for the next period of time. |
Agent ID | Enter the Agent ID provided by Emplifi. Without this ID the White Pages Lookup does not function. |
Client ID | This is the client ID provided to you by Emplifi when you subscribe to the White Pages Lookup service. It is required for the lookup to work. |
Request Timeout (sec) | When the system makes a call to the White Pages Lookup service, this is the amount of time it waits for a response before giving up. Normally the response time is less than a second. You don't want the system to wait very long because the agent may be sitting with a caller on the phone. The default value is 5 seconds. |
White Pages URL | Defaults to the current White Pages URL but can be changed as required. |
Web Service Port | The White Pages Lookup is done by calling a Web Service via HTTP. Normally this is done over TCP port 80. If for some reason you need to do this over a different port, you can enter an override value in this field. You should not do this without first consulting with Emplifi Support, as ports other than 80 may not be supported by the service provider. |
Disable Reverse White Pages | When selected, the calls to the White Pages Lookup service are disabled. This can be useful if, for example, you are experiencing problems with your Internet connection that are causing the lookups to fail and are slowing down processing time. |
