Configurations Overview

Many of the settings that control how the application behaves for a user and for certain utilities are controlled through configuration settings. Each installation of Emplifi Agent can define one or more configurations. Each user is assigned to a single configuration. Having multiple configurations allows you to define different application behaviors for different types or groups of users.

If you are working in a multi-company environment, note that configurations are not company specific. Configurations are assigned to users; users may in turn handle work for multiple companies. Therefore, a single configuration may apply to multiple companies (though technically there is no direct relationship between companies and configurations).

Emplifi Agent always has at least one configuration named "DEFAULT." This configuration cannot be deleted. New users are automatically assigned to use this configuration.
