Configuration: Custom

Custom Configuration Settings are settings for which there is no other field defined on another configuration screen. They are typically used for custom features or utilities created by Emplifi specifically for use by your company. You are instructed on the values to enter in each of the fields.

To add a new custom setting to this view:

  1. On the Function Banner, click the New Custom Setting button.

  2. Enter the values for the Section, Key, and Value fields.

  3. Click the Save button.

To delete a custom setting:

This cannot be undone.

  1. Click the check mark next to the setting to select it.

  2. Click the Delete Custom Setting button.

  3. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.

  4. Click the Save button.

GDPR and CCPA compliance with SQL Special Report statements

For General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) compliance with SQL Special Report statements, enter the following custom settings:

Restrict SQL Report Statements

Y- this will restrict the statement from running and an error message will display. This is GDPR and CCPA compliant.

N - the SQL statement will run as usual.

Enhanced Filtering functionality

This functionality allows for "OR" filtering when filter categories are added to the filter list. To enable the Enhanced Filtering (for details, see Filters in Emplifi Agent) functionality:

Additional security to restrict attachment access

In a multi-company environment, this custom setting enables additional security to restrict an agent from viewing case attachments for a company outside of their responsibility (permission). To restrict access to these attachments, enter the following settings:
