Common Configuration Tasks

Access Configuration Settings in Emplifi Agent

  1. Sign in to Emplifi Agent. For information about accessing Emplifi Agent, see Accessing Emplifi Agent.

  2. From the Application Function Bar, select Administration > Configuration Settings.

Create a New Emplifi Agent Configuration

  1. From the Application Function Bar, select Administration.

  2. On the Administration banner, click the Application Menu button.

  3. Hover over Add New Configuration and select the New Emplifi Agent Configuration option.

  4. In the Configuration ID field, enter a name for the new configuration.

  5. Optional: In the Description field, enter a description for the new configuration.

  6. Click the Save button to save the new configuration.

Create a new Email Service Configuration

  1. From the Application Function Bar, select Administration.

  2. On the Administration banner, click the Application Menu button.

  3. Hover over Add New Configuration and select the New Email Service Configuration option.

  4. In the Configuration ID field, enter a name for the new configuration.

  5. Optional: In the Description field, enter a description for the new configuration.

  6. Click the Save button to save the new configuration.

View or Modify an Existing Configuration

  1. From the Application Function Bar, select Administration > Configuration Settings.

  2. Click to open the configuration that you want to modify.

Create an Exact Duplicate of an Existing Configuration

  1. On the Application Function Banner, select Administration > Configuration Settings.

  2. Select the configuration you want to duplicate.

  3. Click the Copy Configuration button on the banner. The duplicated configuration will open on the window.

  4. In the Configuration ID field, enter a new name for the configuration.

  5. In the Description field, enter a description for the configuration.

  6. Click the Save button on the banner to save the new configuration.

Delete an Existing Configuration

  1. From the Application Function Bar, select Administration > Configuration Settings.

  2. Open the configuration you want to delete.

  3. Once the configuration is opened for modification, click the Delete This Configuration button on the banner.

This button is only visible when you are at the top level in the Configuration Function Bar.

View the Configuration of the Currently Logged-in User

The current user's configuration can be easily determined by pressing [Ctrl+Q] to view the Window Details. For details, see Viewing Technical Details about a Window.

Change the Configuration a User is Assigned to

Changing a user's configuration is done through application setup in the User and Security Setup section. For information, see System User Codes.
