Check Register

The Check Register Utility allows a manager or another person with appropriate permissions to review all checks that have been printed through Emplifi Agent.

To use the utility, specify the options and filters to determine which checks you are going to review. After you run the utility, the results view will show all the appropriate checks. From there you will have the ability to review each check and change its status to void or reused if necessary.

To access the Check Register Utility:

  • From the Application Function Bar, select Utilities > Fulfillment Utilities > Check Register.

Utility Options

The following options are available for this utility:

Description

Time Frame

Select a time frame for the following date selection.

From Date, Thru

Enter the date range for processing. You can either enter specific dates or relative time periods.

Exclude Voided Items

Select this check box to display only non-voided checks. If you clear this check box, all checks regardless of their voided status will appear in the search results.

Utility Filters

You may find it useful to add filters for case received dates. For information, see Filters in Emplifi Agent.

Results

Once you have entered your desired options and any filters, click the Run Utility button on the banner. The Results view displays with a row for each check that met the specified criteria.

The following banner buttons are available:

  • Run Utility - allows you to rerun the utility based on the current criteria

  • New Filter - allows you to add a new filter to filter the results by

  • Favorites - allows you to save the current criteria and filters as a favorite

  • Open - allows you to open the case of the highlighted check

  • Update - allows you to update the status of any checks that are changed using the Voided or Reset buttons

  • Voided - allows you to mark the selected check as void. Clicking the Voided button changes the Voided column value to Yes. You can change the status of several rows by first selecting all the rows that you want to change, then clicking the Voided button.

  • Reset - allows you to reset the Voided column to No. This does not affect checks that have already been updated. If you have clicked the Voided and then the Update buttons, you must un-batch and recreate the batch.

Once you are satisfied that all the checks in the results view have their status set appropriately, click the Update button on the banner. The utility will go through and update all the selected checks. When the update is finished, the results view will refresh based on the selected options and filters.
