eGift Card Rebalance

The eGift Card Rebalance utility allows you to view eGift Cards and update the current balance of active (for example, Picked) eGift Cards.

To access the eGift Card Rebalance Utility:

  • From the Application Function Bar, navigate to Utilities > Fulfillment Utilities > eGift Card Rebalance.

Utility Options

The following options are available for this utility:

Description

Mode

Select whether you want to display a list of eGift Cards or if you want to rebalance the eGift Cards.

List Only - displays a list of eGift Cards based on the specified Filters and Options in the Results window

Rebalance - retrieves a list of eGift Cards based on the specified Filters and Options, updates the eGift Card balance for any active eGift Cards in the list, and displays the list in the Results window

Status

Select the status of the eGift Cards to include in the list. Choose from the following:

  • Picked

  • Void

  • Both

Age

Select the age of the eGift Cards to include in the list. Choose from the following:

  • Any Time - retrieves eGift Cards of any age

  • 8 Hours - retrieves eGift Cards that are a minimum of 8 hours old

  • 24 Hours - retrieves eGift Cards that are a minimum of 24 hours old

  • 48 Hours - retrieves eGift Cards that are a minimum of 48 hours old

Utility Filters

A filter for the eGift Card Number category set to IS NOT NULL defaults. Additional filters can be added. For more information, see Filters in Emplifi Agent.

Results

Once you have entered your desired options and any filters, click the Run Utility button on the banner.

The Results view displays automatically. It contains one row for each eGift Card that met the specified criteria.

You can take any of the following actions:

  • Select an eGift Card in the Results and click the Resend eGift Card button to resend previously issued eGift Cards to the original email address.

It is not possible to resend a previously issued eGift Card to a new email address. The original eGift Card must be canceled (Voided) and a new eGift Card issued to be sent to the new email address.

  • Select an eGift Card in the Results and click the Open Case button on the banner to open the case from which the eGift Card was issued.

  • Click the Rebalance button on the banner to update the current balance for any active eGift Cards displayed in the Results without rebuilding the list.

  • Save as a scheduled favorite to rebalance the eGift Cards at a convenient time.
