Deleting a Case

Although it is possible to completely delete a case in Emplifi Agent, it is generally not considered a good practice. It is better to set a specific reason code on the case so that it does not get included in any undesired reports, but the case is not lost completely. This practice preserves historical accuracy.

In most environments, only a few users have permission to delete cases. This is usually reserved for supervisors and system administrators.

To delete a case in Emplifi Agent:

  1. Open the case that you want to delete.

  2. In the Application menu, click Delete Case.

  3. If you have permission to delete cases, the system prompts you to confirm the deletion. Otherwise, a message displays notifying you that you do not have the required permission.
