Background Process Status

This utility allows you to view the status of processes that are running in the background. This typically means either reports or utilities that have been submitted via a favorite to run on the PCATS at a specified time.

To access the utility and view the status of processes:

  • From the Application Function Bar, select Utilities > Favorites > Background Process Status.

  • When the utility page displays, the User field defaults to the user code that you are logged in as. The processes created by you are shown.

To change the user code:

  1. From the User drop-down list, select a user ID.

  2. Click the Retrieve button to view the status of background processes for this user.

With each request, you can choose from the options below. To execute any option, select the row that you want to perform the action on, and press the corresponding button on the Function Banner.
