Starting Emplifi Agent Interaction

If you are configured to use Emplifi Agent Interaction, how Emplifi Agent Interaction starts depends on whether you have previously logged on.

If you do not see the Emplifi Agent Interaction widget on the Home Page, you are not a member of a configuration that is set up to use Emplifi Agent Interaction. Contact your Emplifi Agent Administrator for assistance.

Users are automatically signed in if they have log on information provided for Emplifi Agent Interaction in their user profile, and Emplifi Agent Interaction is enabled on their user configuration group.

On your first time accessing Emplifi Agent Interaction, after signing in to Emplifi Agent, the LogOn to AAI window will display. You will enter your connection information. You can then save this as your default sign in information. On subsequent sign in attempts, the system logs you in with the saved settings.

Description

User Name

Enter the name to use for signing in to the telephony server.

Password

Enter the password associated with the specified User Name.

Station / Phone

For a standard connection, enter the name of the workstation from which you are signing in.

(tick) Tip: You may be able to leave the field blank to have Emplifi Agent Interaction automatically determine the workstation name.

For a remote connection, enter the phone number where the remote user's calls should be sent. For more information on remote connections, see Remote Connection Basics.

If the Station Type is "Stationless", this field is gray and cannot be entered.

Station Type

Select the option to indicate the type of workstation that you are logging into:

  • Workstation

  • Remote Station

  • Remote Number

  • Stationless

Initial Status

If you would like the system to automatically set your status to a specific value at sign in, you can enter that status here.

Save as Default

Select this option to save these settings for future sign in attempts.

To change the saved default settings:

  • After you are signed in, edit the saved settings in your User Options. The changes will take effect the next time you sign in.
